Circuit Civil has jurisdiction over civil actions in which the matter in controversy exceeds the sum of $50,000, all cases in equity, actions involving the title and boundaries of real property, injunctions, and all civil matters not within the jurisdiction of the county court.
Starting January 1, 2020 County Civil has jurisdiction over small claims and civil actions in which the matter in controversy does not exceed the sum of $50,000. Claims of more than $8,000 but less than $50,000 are categorized as county civil actions.
